Fireworks, when used properly and as directed, are not dangerous. Safety education is responsible for the reduction in firework related injuries and fires. The TPA has joined with the State Firemen's and Fire Marshal's Association and the Texas Forest Service to maximize public participation in our safety education campaign.

Remember, Safety first. If Texans follow the directions printed on the label and adhere to the common sense safety guidelines (hold up a leaflet of bag) distributed by Texas Pyrotechnic Association members, they're sure to have a safe and enjoyable Fourth of July.
